Product Description
This polypropylene ball valve for Mauser ® containers has a 2 inch NPT male outlet, Viton ® gasket, foil seal over the outlet for tamper evidence, reinforced metal collar, and a dust cap for the threaded end to keep particles and contaminants from product when the foil seal is broken or while in storage.
- High performance Viton ® gasket: Rubber with outstanding resistance to temperature extremes, aggressive fuels, chemicals, oils, and concentrated acids
- Made of glass-filled polypropylene
- FDA compliant
- Includes an internal ball with a hole in it so that when the handle is turned, the opening turns to allow product to flow out
- Maximum operating pressure 100 psi @ 70º F
- Leak tight seal: Unlike straight threads, tapered threads pull tight and compress against each other during installation
