This drum handler unit includes a non-intrinsically safe scale system using the Doran model 8000XLM stainless steel indicator with two HM1000 stainless steel load cells. Includes all wiring, mounting and calibration. Narrow isle compact design enables this drum handler to roll through standard doorways and tight aisles with steel, plastic and fiber drums with ease.
Get your drum into (or out of) almost any spot. This drum handler places drums on and off pallets and floor scales by approaching the corner. Capable of handling drums nestled closely together. Prevents strained backs, pinched fingers and other injuries associated with manhandling drums on and off pallets.
One stroke of the foot pump raises or lowers the drum 3/4 inch. Maximum lift height is 20 inches off the floor.
Step Down Floor Lock keeps the unit from rolling away on un-level surfaces.
Darcor ergonomic casters: 2 inch x 5 inch (2) swivel, (2) rigid.
Note: Drum must have a 3/16 inch or higher top rim to engage with the clamping mechanism. Drums must also have a minimum height of 21 inches and a maximum height of 54 inches.
