MORSE® Forklift Karrier for steel drums slides quickly and easily onto forks without tools - no modifications or connections to the lift truck are required. Fork openings are 25 inches apart, accepts forks up to 2 1/2 inch x 6 1/2 inch. The Forklift Karrier has an 800 lb. capacity or 500 lb half drum capacity. A half full drum will be unbalanced and bottom heavy so when you tilt it, the load shifts differently than if it were a full drum.
You control drum tilt with 30:1 ratio gear and sprocket drive. The 20 foot pull chain has 10 feet drop of chain that allows the operator to turn the drum from the driver seat of the fork truck.
This Forklift Karrier features the MORcinch™ drum handling system that automatically adjust for 22 inch to 23 1/2 inch diameter drums with sliding idler and durable stress relief weld joints. It has a flexible cinch chain cover to enhance grip and help protect sidewall of your drum.

Options Available include: Drum Diameter Adapters for handling smaller drums. Bracket (SKU 4556-P) or Rim Clamp (SKU 4560-P) for handling plastic and fiber drums and MORStop™ Tilt-Brake that automatically stops and holds the tilt angle of the drum.
Note: Not every style and size option will work on every MORSE unit. A Hand Crank (X02-285) or Hand Wheel (X03-285) is available to replace the manual tilt mechanism standard on this unit.
