Lift, Move, and Control Pouring of Heavy Drums Right from the Seat of Your Forklift.
MORSE ® Forklift Karrier for 55 gallon steel drums slide quickly and easily onto forks without tools - no modifications or connections to the lift truck are required. Fork openings are 25 inches apart and the Forklift Karrier accepts forks up to 2 1/2 inch x 6 1/2 inch. To use this unit with rimmed fiber or plastic drums you will need to purchase the MORcinch ™ rim clamp assembly (SKU 4560-P).
The heavy duty Forklift Karrier features the MORcinch ™ drum handling system that automatically adjust for 22 inch to 23 1/2 inch diameter drums with sliding idler and durable stress relief weld joints. It has a flexible cinch chain cover to enhance grip and help protect sidewall of your drum.
- Heavy duty model has 1500 lb. capacity or 800 lb half drum capacity with a tilt so that the drum load doesn't get unbalanced and bottom heavy
- Provides finer tilt control with 60:1 ratio gear and sprocket drive
- 20' pull chain has 10 feet drop of chain that allows the operator to turn the drum from the driver seat of the fork truck
- All operations controlled from the driver's seat
- Lifts and drains
- Add a rim clamp assembly to handle rimmed or plastic drums
Options Available include: Drum Diameter Adapters for handling smaller drums. Bracket (SKU 4556-P) or Rim Clamp (SKU 4560-P) for handling plastic or fiber drums and MORStop ™ Tilt-Brake that automatically stops and holds the tilt angle of the drum.
Note: Not every style and size option will work on every MORSE unit. A Hand Crank (SKU X02-285HD) or Hand Wheel (SKU X03-285HD) is available to replace the manual tilt mechanism standard on this unit.
