The Lutz polypropylene pump tube for a wide range of acids and alkalis is suitable for pumping clean and dirty, thin-bodied and slightly viscous, aggressive and non-aggressive liquids out of containers. The pump tube is non-lubricated, preventing contamination of the liquids pumped.
This Lutz sealless design pump tube (the drive shaft of this pump tube is not sealed) has a bearing housing unit above the impeller, designed to prevent pumped liquid from rising between the shaft and the inner tube. This device guides the liquid which penetrates between the drive shaft and the shaft bearing back into the container being drained.
The polypropylene pump tube has a standard length of 39 inches for 55 gallon drums or smaller. The polypropylene pump tube has a polypropylene axial-flow rotor impeller for a low delivery rate and high delivery head. The bearings are ETFE/PTFE and has a Hastelloy C drive shaft.
The GPM, delivery head, viscosity, and specific gravity depends on the motor selected with this sealless designed polypropylene pump tube.
Note: Pump tubes are available for higher pressures and viscosity with high head impellers.
