Product Description
Simple to operate, the complete drainage pump tube has a lever to activate a foot valve closing and opening a "sealing pot". The valve is closed by moving the lever 90° to close the sealing pot to prevent run-back when the pump is extracted. With the liquid captured, the pump tube can be moved to the next drum or liquid being disposed. Using the lever to open the sealing pot, the liquid is pumped out.
The complete drainage pump provides a solution to reducing waste and product loss with highly toxic, expensive and sensitive liquids. The stainless steel complete drainage pump tube is designed to be used when containers need to be completely drained. The 47 inch long stainless steel pump tube has a 41 mm diameter for use in narrow-necked containers or in drums with a 2 inch bung. Non-lubricated pump tube prevents contamination of the liquids pumped.
This complete drainage pump tube is an immersible centrifugal pump. The stainless steel drive shaft is sealed by a single-acting mechanical seal above the impeller, making a robust sealing system. The mechanical seal is constructed of carbon, ceramic, Viton®, and HC-4 (2.4610). This pump tube must not be allowed to run dry.
The complete drainage stainless steel pump tube is constructed of FEP (Florinated Ethylene Propylene) coated seals, carbon bearings, stainless steel drive shaft, and ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) radial-flow impeller.
Lutz® Complete Drainage Pumps can be combined with any Lutz Universal Motor. Order motor and pump separately.
Note: The polypropylene drainage pump tube must not be used for flammable liquids.
Examples of liquids: Petrol, fuel oil, diesel oil, thin-bodied oils, solvents, chlorine carbon hydrogens, alcohols, amines, benzoles, phenoles, etc.
