This 316 stainless steel fusible IBC vent cap has a PTFE gasket, which has excellent insulating properties, can withstand high heat applications, is chemical resistant so as not to be affected by most corrosive liquids, vapors, and gases, repels water and water containing substances.
- Has a 3" NPT that threads onto a 3" nipple on drum cover for UN31A compliance
- Well known for its anti-slick properties
- Fusible vent cap is supplied with a 14 1/2" safety cable for convenient attachment to the container and retains the plug during filling and draining operations
The 316 stainless steel 3 inch fusible cap melts at fire temperatures and provides 8.295 square inches of venting area. Hydrostatically tested to 75 psig (pounds per square inch gauge).
A replacement PTFE gasket (SKU TG3FC) is available.
