Product Description
This food grade siphon pump can be used for liquids that have a maximum 160 cps viscosity. Made with virgin high density polyethylene material for FDA approved use with food products. To begin the siphoning action, the operator pumps the bellows to start the flow. The pump will deliver up to 7 gallons per minute. Once the siphon action starts, the pump will empty the drum until the siphon is stopped by unscrewing the cap on top of the bellows. Fits in a standard 55 gallon steel or plastic drum with 2 inch NPT (fine thread) bung opening. Siphon tube may also be cut to fit into smaller containers such as a 15 or 30 gallon drums. Includes a 2 inch fine thread bung adapter and 4 foot discharge hose. Pump is assembled in clean room and bagged for cleanliness to prevent product contamination.
The pump can be used with flavorings, very light syrups, detergents, acetic acid, vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, lactic acid and other items compatible with high density polyethylene.
Note: Always check chemical compatibility of your product against the pump materials.
