This high performance Finish Thompson Chemical Pump is suitable for flammables. The EP (Explosion-Proof) Motor is double insulated, 110V, 50/60 Hz, 1 Phase with 1/10 HP, 12 foot three wire cord without plug. It is CSA Listed for Class 1, Division 1, Group D. This explosion proof motor with stainless steel pump tube and shaft can be used to pump flammables when used with the required hose and grounding kit.
Designed for free flowing liquids up to 500 cps (centipoise) viscosity and 1.8 specific gravity. The 40 inch long stainless steel pump tube and shaft fits 2 inch bung opening, internals are 316SS, FKM, PTFE, and ETFE. Seal-less design has 30 minute run-dry capability without damage. Features double suction impeller, 1 inch hose barb.

Note: A static protection kit with 1 inch hose barb (SKU A101-835) or with 1 inch male NPT (SKU A101-521) is recommended to increase safety when transferring flammable or combustible liquids with an explosion proof or air motor with stainless steel pump tube. The static protection kit includes cross-linked, polyethylene grounded hose, ground wire and clamps.
