Made of strong 24 gauge steel, this closed head 9 quart (1 gallon) metal pail with a chemical resistant epoxy phenolic lining ensures the integrity of products and has a standard opening that accepts the sold separately Rieke® Flexspout®(SKU FSII).
- Includes a built-in metal handle in the center for easy handling and controlled pouring
- Use the appropriate crimping tool (SKU FS500) for proper closure
- Gray protective steel containers: UN Rating of 1A1/X1.5/250**
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Rust inhibitor applied to the interior of unlined steel containers is a primer that helps inhibit the formation of rust during transit and storage - it does not prevent rusting. Under ideal (clean, low humidity) conditions, drums with rust inhibitor can be stored for up to 30 days without rusting. If empty drums will be stored for longer periods or in higher humidity conditions, consider a phenolic or epoxy lining.
**Note: This 9 quart steel pail is designed, manufactured, and certified to meet DOT/49 CFR requirements for storing and shipping hazardous materials.
