| Hex-Head Type Gaskets have a wide cross-section, fit the hex-head steel and plastic plugs. Choice of materials: Buna is an excellent general purpose black nitrile rubber compound that's ideal for many products, especially petroleum-based liquids. The most widely used plug gasket material. Regular Polyethylene is 100% virgin FDA-Approved polyethylene for foods and chemicals. Natural color. Irradiated Polyethylene is cross-linked FDA-Approved polyethylene for chemical resistance at higher temperatures. Color is tinted to distinguish from standard polyethylene. EPR (ethylene-propylene rubber) offers greater resistance to acids and alkalis, and heat resistance superior to buna. White color. |
